William B. Meyers


WIlliam B. Meyers (1888 – 1958) was a silversmith who had a workshop at 50 Columbia St in Newark, NJ. He was active from the 1920s – 1950s. At the time, Newark was a center of American silversmithing. Meyers graduated from the City University of New York. 

Myers represented himself as an artist in precious metals who made original Jewish ceremonial objects for homes and synagogues. He was known for making hand-made silver Judaica items including mezuzahs.
