Arie Ofir is a world famous artist who chaired the Silversmith department at the Bezalel Academy of Arts for seventeen years. He trained with David Gumbel at Bezalel and then with Georg Jensen in Copenhagen, Denmark. His works are in the collections of the Israel Museum, MOMA and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Arie Ofir has retired from silversmithing and now works in Design so he not making any more mezuzahs. Demand is increasing for top quality mezuzahs and prices are going up year over year so I expect the value of his unique and studio works to go up in price significantly.
